Thomas Deane Ross

Thomas Deane Ross, 75, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on June 22, 2023. He is survived by his son, Jeff (Jennie) and three grandchildren, Owen, Ava and Reagan Ross of Spanish Fort, Alabama. Sister, Patricia Glenn of Arizona and brother, Mike Ross of Texas. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends.  

Thomas was born on May 26, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri to Thomas and Helen Ross. He graduated in 1966 at De La Salle High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He spent his adult life in Fort Myers, FL where he was a long-time business owner of Magic Print Copy Center in Downtown Fort Myers.  Tom was an avid golfer and lover of all sports. He dedicated a large part of his life to volunteering at Fort Myers American Little League, where he served as President, Coach and Umpire throughout his many years there. You could always find Tom behind home plate keeping score at all his grandson's games. Tom was the ultimate storyteller. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He had a gentle, selfless heart and will be greatly missed by many. 

The family will receive friends for a Time of Visitation from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Mullins Memorial Funeral Home, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made in honor of Tom Ross to the Fort Myers American Youth Baseball and Softball League: Fort Myers American Youth Baseball/Softball, 1928 Grace Ave. Unit 3, Fort Myers, FL 33901.
