Thomas Marshall Skaff

February 29, 1960 — August 14, 2024

Thomas Marshall Skaff, 64, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1989, formerly of Miami, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 in Cape Coral. He was born February 29, 1960 in Miami, FL to Sidney and Vesta Skaff, now deceased.

Thomas, a follower of the Jewish faith, was a loving father and a cherished friend to many. Known affectionately as “Tommy” by those close to him, he had a remarkable ability to touch lives and was deeply loved by all. Always the life of the party, Tommy loved taking over the grill and savoring good times with friends. In his younger years, he found joy in surfing, fishing, and relaxing with a cold beer on the beach. His passion for cooking led him to a successful career in the hospitality industry. A dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Florida Gators, Tommy’s loyalty never wavered, despite the ups and downs of their performance. He faced numerous challenges with resilience and a contagious smile, and his laughter was truly infectious. His presence will be profoundly missed.

He is survived by his former wife and great friend, Wendy Skaff; children, Chelsea Skaff and Steven Blasucci of Estero, FL, and Brandon Skaff of Cape Coral; brother, William Skaff of Venice, FL; niece, Kristi Dugas of Dairy, NH; as well as nephews, Michael Dugas of York, ME, and Jacob Skaff of South Paris, ME.
