Tracy Lynn Nipper

December 2, 1969 — January 26, 2024

Tracy Lynn Nipper, 54, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, in Fort Myers.

Tracy was born on December 2nd in Fort Myers, Florida, to Trena and Toby Nipper. She grew up alongside her sister Tina, who, despite constantly being mistaken as twins, was 11 months younger. The two of them graduated from Riverdale High School together in 1988. Her younger sister Tiffany came along 10 years later, and Tracy loved to be a big sister.

Tracy was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis (NF) type 1 when she was 10 and had a series of surgeries throughout her adolescence. Despite all she endured at such a young age, she developed remarkable strength and optimism. She faced every hardship head-on and lived her entire life with the mindset that tomorrow would be a better day.

When Tracy was 22, her daughter, Randi, was born. She dedicated her entire life to making sure Randi could have the best life possible. With Randi being an only child, their relationship was incredibly close, and they saw each other more like best friends. When Randi started school, Tracy would volunteer just to be able to spend more time together and was always the chaperone for class field trips. They talked every day, and there was never a phone call that ended without “I love you’s”. Tracy would always have the last word by saying “I love you more”.

Tracy worked at Waffle House for over a decade and loved the social aspect of her job. She made so many friends and met so many people through her career, and genuinely looked forward to going to work every day. She never met a stranger, and that personality remained constant throughout her life. Tracy was great at maintaining relationships and would always remember to call you on your birthday or give you a wake-up call if you needed it. Her positivity (and daily phone calls just to say hello) will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her parents, Toby and Trena Nipper; daughter, Randi Lewis; sisters, Tina Timpner and Tiffany Skapin; nieces, Rachel, Victoria, Skyler, Willow, and Poet; nephews, Aaron, Preston, and Rhys; as well as her beloved cat and companion, Miss Kitty.
