Vincent Joseph Gerard, Jr.

Vincent Joseph Gerard, Jr., 91, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2019, formerly of Marco Island, FL and Rutherford, NJ, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born November 12, 1933 in Bayonne, NJ to Vincent Gerard, Sr. and Helen Lacz, now deceased.

Vincent was of the Catholic faith and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a civilian contractor for the military. Vincent was a gentle man, kind and giving. He was the first one with a joke to brighten your day. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He always saw the silver lining in everything. His memories will forever be kept alive in our hearts and minds.

He is survived by his loving wife, Assunta Gerard of Cape Coral, FL; three daughters, Helene Gerard Brois of NJ, Tina Gerard (Bryan Ernst) of Cape Coral, and Pamela Gerard of Denver, CO. He had nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He truly loved them all.

Vincent Gerard was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Elissa Gerard Fisher and his beloved grandson, Michael Tyler Fisher.
