William “Bill” Kenneth Armour, Jr.

William “Bill” Kenneth Armour, Jr. of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Fenton, age 79, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Port Charlotte, Florida. William was born on December 10, 1943 in Wellsville, New York, the son of the late William Sr. and Rose Armour.

On July 18, 1964, he married Elaine Krentz in Wellsville, New York. Bill was a member of the Sales Club MFDA, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Order of the Elks, Licensed Funeral Director, Past President of Vista Del sol Condo Association. He loved traveling in motorhomes and cruise ships, boating, collecting cast iron, golf, baseball, softball, bowling, range shooting, fly fishing, watching sports and NASCAR.

He is survived  by his loving wife, Elaine Armour; sons, William Armour III (Diane Armour), Kevin Armour (Tonya Armour), and Bryan Armour (Laurie Armour); grandchildren, Emma Armour, Christopher Armour (Michelle Armour), Jacob Armour (Amanda Armour), Brandon Armour (Teddie Armour), Chelsea Inman, Bryan Armour, Jr (Brooke Armour), and Robert Armour; great-grandkids, Lucas Inman, Jackson Inman, Bristol Armour, Blake Armour, Caroline Armour, Daniel Armour, Abigail Armour, Olivia Armour, Mason Armour, and Amelia Armour; as well as sister, Sharon Armour.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William Armour and Rose Armour; as well as sisters, Joan Armour Smith, Margaret Smith and Shirley Miller Lavalle.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI 48507 with Reverend Peter Ahlersmeyer officiating.

Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 17, 2023 and at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 18, 2023 until time of service at Swartz Funeral Home.
