William "Bill" E. Riley

William Edward Riley, 72, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 9 years, formerly of Boston, MA, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 in Cape Coral. He was born August 7, 1946 in Boston, MA to William and Doris Riley, now deceased. William was of the Catholic faith and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was an officer with the Boston Police Department for over 15 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Shirley Riley of Cape Coral; three loving children, Lisa Riley of Bridgewater, MA, Laura DeShero in MA and William Riley, Jr. of Cape Coral; as well as three grandchildren, Jessie, Michaela, and Taylor. William was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Riley. A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date in Boston, MA.
