William Andrew Haughey, II

William Andrew Haughey II, was born on September 30, 1972 and passed suddenly June 21, 2025 at the age of 52. He leaves his wife Heather Renee Haughey and daughter Abigael Victoria to mourn his passing. His father William Haughey predeceased him in 2016 . He is survived by his mother JoAnn Haughey, sister Heather May Haughey and son Finn Pemberton and sister Betsy & Joseph Pulick and their daughters Emma, Lia and Willa. He is also survived by his in-laws Victor and Merle Huebner, Anthony & Vanessa Huebner, daughter Shelby, Paul & Julianne Huebner, and their son Jacob and daughter Rachel.

 Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. Bill loved to be on or under the open water.  He was a natural boat captain and rescue scuba diver certified. His career was construction, carpentry and trucking. Bill was able to fix and repair most anything constructed or mechanical. He loved working with his hands. He also did major renovations on their house in Cape Coral, Florida where they lived for the past 4 years. His meticulous workmanship is evident throughout.

He was a gregarious individual, making friends quickly. Bill had a special personality and had a way with words. He was always willing to help when he could and never short on advise.  He will be missed by Heather and Abigael together with his respective families. He was most proud of Abigael’s scholarly achievements in high school as well as her acceptance to Florida Gulf Coast University.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday July 19^th, at Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3654 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33916.
