William Daniel Molloy

William Daniel Molloy, 83, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida from 1988 to 2021, and a resident of North Fort Myers, Florida since 2021, formerly of Bronx, NY, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born August 14, 1937 in Bronx, NY to Daniel and Dorothy Molloy, both now deceased.

William was of the catholic faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served his country as a United States Marine. He spent thirty years in New York in the Restaurant and Pub business as an entrepreneur. Upon moving to Southwest Florida in 1988, he worked in public transportation for many years. He was proud to be a conservative Republican and followed politics closely. He will always be remembered as a kind, compassionate, loving, and humorous man.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Molloy; children, Bill Molloy (Deanna) of North Fort Myers, FL, Michael Molloy of Cape Coral, FL, and Barbara Duprez (Arthur) of North Fort Myers, FL; nine grandchildren, Stephanie (Brooke), Christopher (Jessica), Michael, William, Barbara (Joshua), Deidre (Clayton), Kaylee, Summer, and Faith; as well as seven great grandchildren, Cooper, Addilynn, Harrison, Atlas, Emma, Oliver, and Greyson.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:30pm, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Decan Jim Tesoriero officiating. The Family will receive Friends for a time of visitation at 2:00pm up to the time of service.
