Zbigniew Anthony Banko

Zbigniew Anthony Banko, 60, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past three years, formerly of Lemont, IL, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 in Cape Coral. He was born September 1, 1962 in Chicago, IL to Zbigniew and Carmen Banko, now deceased.

Zbigniew (known as Bish or Tony) was of the Catholic faith and was a Veteran of the United States Marines. He was proud to be an American. He was a truck driver for 36 years and retired to Florida in 2020. He was a loving husband, father and an even more amazing Papa. Bish was a hardworking man who loved and cared for his family beyond words. You could always catch him acting goofy with his family or riding his Harley and forever wearing a Harley Davidson shirt. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Cheryl Banko of Cape Coral; four loving children, Anthony Banko, Jackie Segura (Jesus), Amanda Montelpasse (Ryan) and Brittany Banko; three brothers, Allen Banko, Joey Banko (Lisa), and Jason Banko (Jan); as well as nine grandchildren, Rayna, Hailey, Ashton, Elektra, Robert, Christian, Liam, Leah, and Savannah.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at The Bucket Club, 5947 S Oak Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60638
