Ana Maria Ortuño Castillo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ana who left this world on February 12, 2025 at the age of 70. A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend to many, she touched countless lives with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Born July 5, 1954 in La Parota, Guerrero, to J. Jesus Ortuno and Cliseria Sierra, now deceased, Ana was a woman of incredible strength and warmth. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting others before herself and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and support. Her greatest joy was found in the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and those she held dear.

Ana had a heart that knew no bounds, offering comfort, guidance, and a listening ear to anyone in need. Her legacy of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her husband, Jorge Castillo; her children, George Castillo and Glenda Keen; her siblings, Alejandra Ortuño Sierra, Artemio Ortuño Sierra, Marcelo Ortuño Sierra, Jesus Ortuño Sierra, Guadalupe Ortuño de Perea, Berta Ortuño Sierra and Maria Ortuño Pineda; her grandchildren, Chris, Aaron, Zoe, Evan and Benjamin; who will forever cherish her memory. 

A celebration of her life will be held on March 1, 2025 at Mullins Memorial Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the incredible woman she was.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that her love will remain with us always and that she is resting in paradise.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL  33916 with the Family accepting friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 am up till the time of service.  

A Committal of Christian burial will take place at 1:00 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
