Andrew "Andy" Joseph Sullivan

Andrew “Andy” Joseph Sullivan, 12, of Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in Fort Myers. He was born April 25, 2012 in Fort Myers.

Andy was an honor roll student who loved to play his guitar, ukelele, keyboard, French horn and violin. When he was not playing music or singing around the house, he could be found with hanging out with his friends, working out at Planet Fitness, riding around the neighborhood, gazing at the stars discovering astronomy through his SarBlue telescope, troubleshooting technology for the family and learning anything he could. Andy could always be found wearing his Under Armor gear. He was sweet, sensitive, compassionate and loved to help others.   

He is survived by his loving parents, Brian and Leanne Sullivan of Fort Myers; paternal grandmother, Barbara Sullivan, AKA “Grandma” of Fort Myers; maternal grandmother, Sandra Alfery, AKA “Nana” of Fort Myers, Donald Alfery, AKA “Grandpa” of Troy, Michigan; two siblings, Lillian and Thomas Sullivan of Fort Myers; four uncles, Shawn Sullivan (Jennifer) of Virginia, Glenn Sullivan (Andrea) of Fort Myers, Brandon Cross (Juliane) of Shelly Township, MI and Joe Alfery (Melissa) of Pinckney, MI; two aunts, Ann Sullivan of North Florida and June Jones of Las Vegas, NV; many cousins as well as his loving pets, Teddy, Thor and Snickers the dogs, Piggy the guinea pig and Bella the cat. 

Andy was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Thomas Sullivan and Michael Cross as well as an uncle, Thomas Sullivan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at CityGate Ministries, 1735 Jackson St, Fort Myers, FL 33901.  The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 starting at 5:00 pm until the time of service.
