Cathy Ann Sprague

Cathy Ann Sprague, 75 a resident of Fort Myers since 2012, formerly of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Fort Myers.  She was born October 25, 1947 in Stockton, CA to Daniel Mudge and Dorothy Yerdon, now deceased. 

Cathy was a nurse for 45 years, interning at Lee Memorial Hospital, after attending Ft. Myers High School and Edison College.  She worked her way up through administration and retired from nursing while working at Hope Hospice.  Cathy loved taking her nieces and grand niece to amusement parks like Disney and Universal.  She loved to cook and was a great cook, she would go all out for the holidays.  Cathy was adventurous, fun-loving and always had a smile.  She loved her family, her pets and shopping.

She is survived by her stepfather, Edwin Yerdon, Sr.; two sisters, Danielle Burke (Gary) of Sun City, AZ and Betsy Reynolds (Jody) of Salisbury, NC as well as four brothers, Edwin Yerdon of Ft. Myers, FL, Steven Mudge (Shelby) of Cincinnatus, NY, Joel Mudge (Sandy) of Salisbury, NC and Phillip Mudge (Jean) of Cincinnatus, NY.

One brother Peter Mudge who passed away on Sunday, December 4th.

A Celebration of Cathy’s life will be at a later date.
