Clayton Jacob Norder

Clayton Jacob Norder, 87, a North Fort Myers resident since 1989, formerly of Janesville, WI, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Fort Myers, Florida.  He was born March 13, 1938, in Waukesha, WI to Orville and Esther Norder, now deceased.

Clayton was a US Navy veteran. He was an avid wood worker and enjoyed many bicycle trails with his wife and brother.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Janet Norder of Cape Coral; two children, Jeff Norder and wife Marjean of Janesville, WI and Vicki Houfek and husband Jeff of Cape Coral; ten grandchildren, Brian Norder and wife Desserey, Josh Norder, Christa Zamora and husband Jay, Steven Norder, Cari Williams and husband Jasen, Chad Houfek and wife Chelsea, Danny Houfek, Sarah Chin and husband Cory and Noah Houfek; ten great grandchildren; three siblings, Orville Gales, Carol Helmeid and Evalyn Terrill all of Wisconsin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Carpenter; a grandson, Chad Carpenter; four brothers, Orville, Buster, Jerry and Nate Norder; as well as two sisters, Peggy Myers and Vinnie Norder.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, May 2, 2025, at the The Vineyard Church, 923 SE 47^th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909 with Pastor Jasen Williams officiating.  US Navy Honors will be presented.
