Gloria Jean Proffitt

Gloria Jean Proffitt, 83, a resident of Cape Coral since 1982, formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 in Cape Coral.  She was born on May 9, 1941 in Galax, VA to Audley and Margarette Dalton, now deceased. 

Gloria was employed by State Farm Insurance for over 20 years. Gloria loved reading, shopping, and going on exciting trips to Vegas and Biloxi.

She is survived by her two loving children, Sandra Stanley of Cape Coral and Cynthia (James) Neumann of Parma, OH; three grandchildren, Paul, Matthew and Nicole; one great grandchild, Sadie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Gloria was preceded in death by her four siblings, Jerline Wood, Earnestine Landreth, Ronald Goad and Donald Goad. 

No formal services are planned.
