Jacqueline “Jakki” Anne Ross, 71, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL since 2025, formerly of Cape Coral, FL and Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 in Cape Coral. She was born May 4, 1953 in Minneapolis, MN to Clarence (deceased) and Lorraine Nelson.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Ronald “Ron” Ross, in 2024. She was of the Roman Catholic faith who lived by her faith, praying and reading her Bible daily. She was a loving mother to her sons and step-daughters. Jakki was a computer technician and worked in customer service. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, Ron before his passing. They enjoyed playing cards and visiting with friends and family. In the early years, she enjoyed going to the cabin and traveling with Ron.
She is survived by two sons: Jesse Willey (Shelly) of Minneapolis, MN, and Eric Ross (Kelsey) of Blaine, MN; and two step-daughters: Terry Berg (Lee) of Minnetonka, MN, and Vicki Larson (David) of Plymouth, MN, one brother, Joe Nelson (Kathy) of Albany, OR, two sisters, Jeanne Fackler (Jim) of New Smyrna, FL, and Julie (Wade) English of Maple Grove, MN; eight grandchildren, Megan, Kate, Krissi, Michael, Jordan, Kyleigh, Sean, Sophia, and Carter; as well as great grandchild, Devon IV, and many cousins and nieces and nephews.
A combined Funeral Mass for Jakki and her husband, Ron, will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10:30 AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4087 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale, MN 55422. The Family will be accepting friends and family for a time of visitation one hour before the mass with a luncheon to follow. A combined burial for Jakki and Ron will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on June 11, 2025.
