John loved being a Baptist. He loved the little church he went to years ago. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at the church in North Fort Myers. John moved to Ft. Myers in 1969. He attended Riverdale, Cypress Lake and Fort Myers High Schools. Over the years, he was a man of many talents. He did body work on cars, with his father, had a carpet cleaning business, fire and water damage restoration company and then a remodel business where he did beautiful work from wood to tile. He could do anything. He was fair and honest. His customers loved him so much that they all became friends through the years. John was an avid pool player and played in tournaments in Las Vegas with his team. He loved to play pool! He had many friends at Southern Billiards in Cape Coral. John’s cancer never held him back. He took that time to learn how to use Sherry’s embroidery machine and Brother Scan and Cut machine. He graduated to T-shirt making, sublimation and then found a C02 laser. He learned how to make so many things on the laser. There was not anything he could not make. John had so much knowledge and talent. He was a kind soul. He truly would do anything for anyone. No matter what time of day or night, he would come. John loved his family dearly. He will be forever missed.
He is survived by the love of his life, Sherry Walker, of Cape Coral Fl, 3 children: Johnny Walker (Ariel) of Ohio, Jason Walker of North Carolina, Elliot Walker (Ashleigh) of Cape Coral Fl.
