Lydia Carrillo

Lydia Carrillo, 83, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past twenty-six years, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 in Naples, FL. She was born December 24, 1939 in San Antonio, TX to Pedro F. and Juanita Sanchez, now deceased.

Lydia was a member of First Christian Church in Cape Coral, FL. She lived a fulfilling life as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lydia loved her family and was always there when they needed her. She loved to quilt, do puzzles, work in her garden and have cookouts on the weekend with her family.

Lydia was surrounded by her children and loved ones during the final days of her life.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Morrow (Kevin) of Fort Myers, FL, Faye Carrillo Winter (Randall) of Chicago, IL, Michael Carrillo (Denise) of Cape Coral, FL, and Christine Carrillo of Naples, FL; daughter-in-law, Helen Carrillo of Lowell, IN; twelve grandchildren; as well as twelve great-grandchildren.

Lydia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert A. Carrillo, Sr. in 2018; children, Robert A. Carrillo, Jr. and Jesse Carrillo; as well as five siblings.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at First Christian Church of Cape Coral, 2620 County Club Blvd, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
