Paul Golino, 44, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL since 2020, formerly of Cape Coral and Clewiston, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in LaBelle. He was born January 21, 1978 in New Haven, CT.
Paul proudly served in the United States Navy where he achieved the rank of MR-2. He served with dedication during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Paul was a dedicated father, grandfather and husband. He loved spending time outdoors and camping off-grid. He has been employed with US Sugar since 2015, holding the title of Engineer/RCO in their railway division. Paul will be remembered as a family man who was willing to help anyone during their time of need.
He is survived by his loving wife of three years, Wendy “Wen” Golino of Lehigh Acres; mother, Rosaria Golino of Connecticut; father, John Golino Sr. of Florida; grandmother, Eleanor Golino, mother-in-law Kathleen Smith (Lawrence) and father-in-law Michael Armstrong. His two children, Gabriella Golino of Lehigh Acres, Nathan Golino of Lehigh Acres, five stepchildren, Kyliea Johnson of Hobe Sound, Kienna Johnson of Stuart, Kiergan Johnson of Stuart, Bobby Rider of Florida and Serena Rider (Mark) of Maine; six step-grandchildren, Noveah, Carson, Liam, Layla, Kinsley and Harper; sister-in-law, Stephanie Golino of Maine; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins as well as Felix the dog.
Paul was preceded in death by his brother, John Golino Jr., grandparents, AJ Golino, Alfonso, Iolanda D’Onofrio and his beloved dog Nico.
Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held 3:00PM, Friday, January 27th, 2023 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Ft. Myers 33916 with Chaplain Bryan Irvine officiating.
