Raymond John Flavelle, 87, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for the past five years, formerly of Detroit, MI, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 in Fort Myers. He was born March 16, 1937 in Dearborn, MI.
Raymond was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed fishing, reading westerns, playing poker, and collecting coins. He was a connoisseur of chocolate and loved traveling. He was a very loving and generous man who loved to contribute to needy organizations.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Flavelle of Spring, TX; his nephew, Scott Flavelle (Crystal) of Alva, FL; niece, Kim Adalis (Mike) of Montgomery, TX; great niece, Sofia Jones and family of College Station, TX; great nephews, Ralee Flavelle, and Carter Flavelle of Alva, FL; cousins: Delores Black (Joe), Justine Mullins and family, Christine Black and family of MI; as well as special friend, Rose Miles (John) of Fort Myers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Susan Flavelle; brother, Robert Flavelle; aunt, Ann Tocco; and cousin, Bobby Black.
