Robert Calhoun Bevis

My Sweetheart and Best Friend Robert C. Bevis, died at home peacefully on Wednesday May 14, 2025, with his wife Sandra by his side. Bob was born May 4, 1934, in White Plains, NY. His family moved to Coral Gables, FL.

When he was 3 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Winifred Bevis, daughter Lara Hengstenberg and grandson Travis Belden.

He is survived by his wife Sandra, daughter Kristy (Eric) Grandchildren; Angelica Realy, Mary LaMonica, and Dayton Merkel; five children from a previous marriage; David (Nancy), Ricky (Tony), Robbie, Cindy, and Cathy (Glen); eleven Grandchildren; ten Great-Grandchildren; brother, Tom (Linda) and sister-in-law Patricia Finlay.

Through the years, Bob owned Busy Bee Lawn maintenance. He also worked at Cape Coral Walmart for 27 years. Mr. “B” many people would call him, he was a wonderful husband, dad, and friend. Always had a smile on his face, a contagious laugh and would give you the shirt off his back. He was a kind and loving, gentle man.

I miss you and love you, but I know we will be together again someday. Nite, Nite, Sleeptight.
