Ruth Christensen Scherb

Ruth Christensen Scherb, 90, a resident of Cape Coral, formerly of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024.  She was born August 22, 1933 in Staten Island, NY to Christian and Sophie Christensen, now deceased. 

Ruth graduated from Wagner college with a degree in English.  Afterwards, she married her high school sweetheart when he returned from his air force service in the Korean War.  She will be remembered as an inspiration to all who were lucky enough to know her.  She always had a positive attitude and a witty comeback.  A caring mother and lifelong friend to her three children, she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her husband, W. Robert and survived by her three loving children, Jeffrey Scherb (Shrinka) of Wilmington, DE, Susan Davis (Glen) of Cape Coral and Sandra Croce (Michael) of Leland, NC; seven grandchildren, Allison, Kristen, Sheryl, Alex, Samantha, Robert, and Rachel; as well as six great grandchildren, Jackson, Alexis, Emerson, Fraser, Carson, and Callum.
