Sandra Kaye Gardner

Sandra Kaye Gardner, 82, a resident of Fort Myers, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 in Fort Myers.  She was born December 29, 1941 in Evansville, IN to Harry and Marjorie Marlowe, now deceased. 

Prior to beginning her career as a licensed Real Estate Agent/Broker Sandy served as a Flight Attendant for American Airlines and a Service Representative for AT&T.  She was licensed to sell real estate in Indiana, Colorado and Florida.  She and her husband John and granddaughters Jordan, Ashlee and Shelby moved to Fort Myers in 2004 after spending 15 years in Palm Beach Gardens where she enjoyed a successful career as a Broker/Agent for PGA Realty Company.  After relocating to Fort Myers, Sandy became an active member the Gateway Women’s Club.  She served on numerous Committees and was active in charitable causes as well.  She will always be remembered for her kindness and her considerate manner towards others. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, John W. Gardner, Jr. of Fort Myers; one daughter, Lisa Knable; one brother, Greg Gray as well as two grandchildren, Ashlee and Shelby Knable. 

Sandra was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jordan.

A Celebration of Life for Sandy is scheduled for 11AM on Saturday, April 12th at the Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church on Gateway Blvd.  A reception will be held at The Club at Gateway located at 12091 Gateway Greens Drive, immediately following the service at the Church.
