Susan Mae Beckman

Susan Mae Beckman, 78, of Fort Myers, FL.  formerly of Columbiana & Youngstown, OH, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Hospice House in Cape Coral, FL., She was born on October 18, 1946, in Salem, Ohio to Lloyd Raymond and Marguerite Ann (Kamery) Crawford, now deceased.

Susan was of the Methodist Faith.  She attended College at Youngstown State University, lived in Frankfurt Germany for 2 years, worked at JC Penny’s in Boardman OH as Credit Manager for 16 years, Moved to Ft. Myers, FL. in 1985, and worked at Lee Co. Blue printing for 10 years, then worked for Lee County Government, FL. for 18 years, before she retired.

Sunflowers and cobalt blue décor were some of her favorite things, she was a daily sudoku puzzler, along w/ an avid Wheel of fortune watcher (even once a contestant) She loved holidays and being around family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 27 years, Charles “Billy” Beckman from Louisville KY & resides in Ft. Myers, FL.  Only daughter, Pamela Eve Anderson Embry (Michael) of Ft. Myers; one sister, Rita Ellen Bolli (L.G. Neal) of McCall, ID & Ft. Myers; Three grandchildren, Joseph, III (Tashia) of WV, Gabrielle Eve (Jason) of WV, and Kira Ann Lynn; of Ft. Myers, FL.   Seven great grandchildren, Nevaeh Faith, Coralie Marie, Collum Joseph IV, Bayleigh Eve Mae, Harley Joseph James, Eli William Joe and Ava Marie; two nephews, Todd (Vickie) and Lance (Amanda) as well as one niece, Brandi. (Jeremy).

Susan was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Lee Rhodes. (Robert)
