Victoria Elizabeth Sherwood

Victoria “Vicky” Elizabeth Sherwood, 54, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2000, formerly of Marathon, FL, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born May 23, 1970 in Stratford, NJ to Elizabeth Arnold and the late John Sherwood.

VIcky was presently an employee of the City of Cape Coral at the Art Center and at the Yacht Club, until Hurricane Ian had other plans. Her previous endeavors were in Retail Management and Real Estate sales.

Vicky will be remembered for her quick wit, sunny disposition and work ethic. She loved helping others for a good cause. Vicky also loved all animals and wildlife.

She is survived by her loving mother, Elizabeth Arnold of Cape Coral; loving children, daughter Cory E. Amerson of Colorado Springs, CO, and son Alex Leird of Cape Coral; brother John Sherwood of New Paltz, NY;brother Michael Sherwood of Lilburn, Ga.,  as well as a nephew, John Sherwood. 

Vicky was preceded in death by her father, John Barry Sherwood; as well as a son in law, Todd Schulte.

A Private family gathering will be held.
