William Raymond Sims, Jr.

William Raymond Sims, Jr., 46, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 in Fort Myers.  He was born March 7, 1978 in Fort Myers.

William was of the Christian faith attending Next Level Church of Fort Myers.  He was extremely Loved by his loving wife and Stepkids, he will never be forgotten the loved he spared within his family and his community was unlike any love anyone felt before, He lived all his life in Fort Myers known by his peers as Uncle Junior or Coutnry by those who knew him closely, knowing him was knowing an angel who never judged anyone and helped anyone he could, his heart was too big to hold the pain and despair he held at times, he was a strong person in Spirit and stubborn at times but he will have you laughing at all times, He left this world but his soul will forever live with his Family and Loved Ones.

Revelation 21:4

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Santos of Fort Myers; mother, Patricia Sims of Fort Myers; four children, Marissa Sims of Fort Myers, Sady Sims of AL, Paysha N. Martinez (Marcos) of Columbia, SC and Kiara Sims of Fort Myers; stepchildren, Yesenia Thomen, Aliyah Thomen and Isaac Thomen all of Fort Myers; six siblings, Melissa Taylor, Angel Shell (Michael), William P. Sims (Tammy), David Sims (Jamie) Danny Sims and Gwendolyn Martinez (Geronimo) all of Fort Myers as well as nine grandchildren. 

William was preceded in death by his father, William Raymond Sims, Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL  33916 with the Family accepting Friends for a time of visitation at 5:00 PM.
