FULL SERVICE DIRECT CREMATION STARTING AT $1900

Sometimes referred to as simple or basic cremation, this option involves no viewing of the deceased at the funeral home before the cremation takes place. It does require the use of an alternative cremation container and is the most affordable cremation choice available.

IDENTIFICATION ONLY CREMATION

Identification Viewing Only Cremation gives immediate family a brief opportunity to identify their loved one and say goodbye. Embalming isn’t required, but the body must be bathed, topically disinfected, and dressed in clothing provided by the family. Because embalming isn’t performed, this option doesn’t permit visits from friends or extended family, and no skin-to-skin contact is allowed. It also requires the use of an alternative cremation container and is the second most affordable option available.

TRADITIONAL CREMATION

Traditional cremation follows the same format as a standard funeral, with the main difference being that cremation takes place instead of burial. This option requires embalming and the use of either a cremation casket or a rental casket. Since the body is embalmed, there are no restrictions on the length of the viewing or who may attend, and skin-to-skin contact is allowed. This is the most costly cremation option.

Permanent Memorialization

Placing the Urn in a Columbarium (aka, a “niche”)

Many families find comfort in having a final resting place that they can visit.

Keeping an Urn at Home

This is a common choice and families can select the perfect urn for their loved one.

Scattering the Cremated Remains

Some families find comfort scattering the cremated remains in a place that was special to their loved one.

Burying the Urn

Similar to a casket, the in-ground burial of the urn allows for a final resting place.
