If your family has chosen cremation, we offer affordable services that help celebrate the life of your loved one while giving you several options for a public gathering, and a final resting place.

Our online cremation option is handled entirely through phone and computer — we do not meet in person. This service does not include help with veteran benefits, writing or placing an obituary, planning a memorial service, or ordering death certificates (we only file them as required by state law). We also do not provide thank-you cards.
Business matters for this option are handled Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with the exception of phone calls or decedent transportation, which may occur outside those hours. To use this service, you’ll need access to a computer and be able to scan, email, or fax documents back to us.
THE PROCESS
Once you've decided that Online Direct Cremation is the right choice for your family, here's what to do next:
- Inform the person in charge at the place of death (such as a nurse, paramedic, police officer, fireman, or social worker) that Mullins Memorial will be handling the arrangements.
- Contact Mullins Memorial to confirm that you’ve selected us to assist your family.
- Complete and submit the death certificate questionnaire provided.
- We will email you the necessary documents for your signature, along with a detailed breakdown of services and costs.
- Review and complete the paperwork.
- Sign where indicated and return the documents to us.
- Submit payment to finalize the arrangements.
Online cremation consists of the following goods and services:
Our Online Direct Cremation package includes the following:
- Professional services
- Transportation of your loved one within a 35-mile radius to our facility
- State-required refrigeration
- Cremation fee
- A basic cardboard container for the cremation process
- A temporary cardboard urn for the ashes
The only cost not included is the $70 Medical Examiner Cremation Authorization fee, which only applies if your loved one was not already under the care of the medical examiner.
Ashes can be picked up at Mullins Memorial by the authorized person or shipped for an additional fee of $265.
